Terry Deary. Terry is a former actor, theatre-director and Drama teacher and currently lives in County Durham. He has written over 150 books in the UK, including 44 Horrible Histories titles, and was voted the fifth most popular living children’s author in a 2005 Guardian survey.
Philip Reeve (born 28 February 1966) is an English author and illustrator of children's books, primarily known for the 2001 book Mortal Engines and its sequels. His 2007 novel, Here Lies Arthur, based on the legendary King Arthur, won the Carnegie Medal, which sets out to choose the year's best children's book published in the UK.
